Finding happiness in dark days.

I started painting 6 years ago, after retiring from my successful name badge business.  Never having held a paint brush, let alone experienced oil paint, I followed my love of colour.  This drew me to a very happy place.  The lushness of the paint, the vibrance of the colour, the texture and variance of the brushes, helped in the creation of colourful and joyful paintings.

I paint with oils on canvas from my little greenhouse studio.  I work from photographs and other images that inspire my passion and love of colour.
